Global Warming, Greenland and it’s melting ice Glaciers?

What are the chances that Greenland the largest island on earth would actually be covered with glaciers. Or maybe green land? If Global warming has its way the glaciers will melt away into the ocean. Some of the Glaciers are 2 miles thick covering the island that is Greenland. Making Greenland green land again like the name implies.

Numerous studies conducted by university scientists and like minded science communities in July had been measuring the rate that the Glaciers are melting. Conducting these tests on Greenland is dangerous done in sub-zero temperatures using special survival gear and tents for extended stays, or by making short stops and taking measurements of the ice by means of helicopter. Studies are conducted at specific locations done over a period spanning decades. Tests are done on the weather, winds and how the ice melts, taking measurements and observing shapes and patterns in the ice caused by melting.

Scientists involved in this research state varying rates at which the ice will melt in the coming years, but conclude how it has melted over the last decades from when measurements were first taken. Ice melt from glaciers goes into the ocean and can raise sea levels covering dry land. Over a period of time ice melt from glaciers can cause other environmental factors. These include disrupting the currents of the oceans from temperature change in the ocean and ocean salt content, (the amount of salt in the ocean or salinity).           All of these factors caused long ago by global warming inevitably change how mother earth itself is affected by its environment and changes in the weather and the climate. Earth and our changing environment the subtle differences we categorize in science. We are our prevailing endorsement and life on earth, and survival as our greatest triumph. We conquer great change as a civilization or civilizations and are witness to the environment and its changes since the beginning of man.
