Global "Fashion Night Out" Returns One Night Only to Ala Moana Center on September 10

It's just a few days and counting as Ala Moana Center presents its second year in participating in one of the world's biggest one night only fashion events that spans the globe "Fashion Night Out" on Friday, September 10 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. It's a celebration of fashion that spans from New York, Brazil and Bombay all the way to the islands of Hawaii.

Globally, the event is deemed as the biggest one night fashion party in history and Ala Moana Center promises to make Hawaii fashion enthusiasts very happy with the spectacular line up of in-store events, trunk shows, sales promotions, runway shows, and much more with more than 80 retailers participating.

FALL RUNWAY SHOWS

Event goers will delight in four runways shows that take place at the mall's Centerstage starting at 5 p.m. The shows continue every hour on the hour until 9 p.m. Highlighted in the shows will be fashion line-ups from more than a dozen retailers with make-up by Sephora, hair by Ho'ala Salon & Spa, and entertainment by DJ Eskae and Afatia Thompson.

Participants include: 7 For All Mankind, Anteprima Wirebag, BCBG Max Azria ,Banana Republic, bebe, Betsey Johnson, Blue Hawaii Surf, Caché, Diesel, Island Edge, Jimmy Choo, Metropark, Philip Rickard Honolulu, Spiral Girl, and Tori Richard.

GIFT WITH PURCHASE

As a special incentive to shop, Ala Moana Center indulges its shoppers by offering a free limited-edition Fashion Night Out signature tote bag gift with purchases with $75 or more in receipts from participating Fashion Night Out retailers. Purchases must be made at the center on September 10 between 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. to qualify for redemption, while supplies last. Limited to one bag per person.

YWCA "DRESS FOR SUCCESS"

Ala Moana Center's Fashion Night Out extravaganza also supports a very good cause -- Laniakea YWCA's Dress for Success -- that enables women in need to make tailored transitions into the workplace with gently used clothing for successful interviews and engaging upon new careers.

YWCA and Ala Moana Center are looking for career staples to be donated for the event including classic suits and separates, dresses, jackets and sweater sets, unused cosmetics and beauty products, handbags, shoes and accessories.

Dress for Success drop-off points are at the following retailers: Betsey Johnson, Cole Haan, Custo Barcelona, DKNY, Folli Follie, Hawaiian Island Creations, Ho`ala Salon and Spa, Jimmy Choo, Links of London, Neiman Marcus, Sephora, Valerie Joseph, and Vera Bradley. Some of these retailers will have special incentives for donations including in-store discounts. In addition, there will be a general drop-off location mall level at Center Court.
