This high-energy event features lively music and over-the-top laser and light displays along the entire race course. A finish line party greets runners with food and festivities.
Each Glo Run 5K participant receives a glow-in-the-dark print shirt, as well as glow necklaces and other accessories.
The Glo Run is an untimed 5K fun run. Entrants may run, jog, or walk. No dogs are allowed, and strollers are not permitted.
A water station will supply runners with mid-race hydration.
Packet pickup for the Milwaukee Glo Run is set for Friday, September 20, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., at Performance Running Outfitters, 4533 North Oakland Avenue, in Shorewood. Runners may also pick up race packets on-site before the Glo Run. A signed waiver is required.
Participants aged 12 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
The Glo Run 5K is set to begin at 7:20 p.m. September 21 at Veterans Park, 1010 North Lincoln Memorial Drive, in Milwaukee.
On Saturday, October 19, the Glo Run comes to Madison as well.
