The start of Passover is just a few weeks away. If you are planning on observing this holiday, but don't feel like cooking, you may want to consider stopping by Glenview House in suburban Glenview. Chef Grant Slauterbeck has put together a tasting menu of traditional Seder foods that promises to please any palate.
The first course will consist of chicken and matzah ball soup, which will be followed by your choice of lemon and olive roasted chicken or sweet brisket. The brisket will be served with red cabbage and potato kugel. The meal will end with a dessert of cherry and apple crumble.
Chef Slauterbeck has experience making traditional Jewish foods, and he created a special Rosh Hashanah menu in September that was received well by food lovers in the Chicago area.
Glenview House will offer this unique tasting menu from March 25 through April 2 between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. The restaurant is located at 1843 Glenview Road in Glenview. You can find out more at the Glenview House website.
