Glenn Beck WWE challenges were issued by Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger on Friday (Feb. 22). The Glenn Beck WWE challenge was basically a video posted online by two characters riled up by comments Beck had made on the radio. According to a report from TMZ, this isn't the first time that the wrestling community has issued a challenge to him either.
Apparently Beck has been using his radio show to attack the WWE about a character he was not pleased with. That character is Colter, who Beck reportedly described as "a villain who just happens to be a racist Tea Partier." Beck also appeared to be offended by the character, giving the WWE a lot of free publicity by ranting about them on air.
Well the two men playing those characters for WWE issued a video where they break character to issue a statement directly to Beck. As part of that statement, a challenge was issued for Beck to actually address his comments in a public setting. That included an invite to appear live on "Monday Night Raw."
While this Glenn Beck WWE challenge seemed to also be a ploy to grab ratings should he actually agree to appear on the show, it also tried to show how these guys are mostly just actors. The question of whether beck would really appear on "Monday Night Raw" was also answered when Beck issued a statement: "Unfortunately I am currently booked doing anything else."
