On a radio broadcast on Monday, conservative pundit and talk show host Glenn Beck along with his co-hosts went on a segment long rant about politicians who are suddenly announcing their support for gay marriage after opposing it in the past. According to Right Wing Watch, Beck’s main target was former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton who he said only voiced her support once it became popular to do so.

Beck said that Clinton came out in support of same-sex marriage because of a change in public opinion and that she didn’t have the guts to do so before. He called politicians such as Clinton “disgusting” after saying, “you’re saying this is the civil rights issue of our day, and you were such a coward you couldn’t do it until Hollywood changed everybody’s mind.”

Clinton came out in support of gay marriage back in March 2013 signaling she was strongly considering a 2016 presidential run. It was believed then that Clinton public support of an issue that her Democratic rivals already endorsed would help her chances. Beck took it a lot further suggesting that Clinton would not only change her mind when it came to public opinion, but would also change her sexuality basically saying that Clinton would turn lesbian if she thought it would help her chances of winning the 2016 presidential election.

“I’m telling you, Hillary Clinton will be having sex with a woman on the White House desk if it becomes popular,” Beck said. “She’ll be like, look, the arc of history wasn’t ready for a president to be lesbian and have sex on the desk.”

Although a bit extreme, it isn’t the first time Clinton’s sexuality has been referenced. Back in September, anti-gay radio host Bryan Fischer stated that she could “be our first lesbian president.” This came on the heels of a claim by Bill Clinton’s ex-mistress, Gennifer Flowers, that Bill told her that Hillary was bisexual.
