Over the weekend, Mingdong Chen, a 25-year-old transient from China, reportedly confessed to having murdered his cousin’s wife and four children with a meat cleaver. According to reports, Chen had recently been told to leave and stated that he killed them out of envy; because he felt they had everything and that he had nothing.
Enter Glenn Beck, already on the verge of messing his pants with glee at the prospect of blaming it all on Obama.
According to Beck, blame for the murder belongs, not with the actual murderer (no, that would be too logical), but with the "class war" that President Obama has been waging against the rich in America.
"Tonight I want to introduce you to the first victims in this war on the wealthy," said Beck.
Beck even went further and introduced race into the equation, even though this was a family dispute in which both the assailant and the victims were all members of the same ethnicity.
"Part of my job," Beck continued, "is to inform you on what I see coming, but you're seeing it now, it's here: a class war and a race war, not of your doing."
Of course, by the same logic, Glenn Beck could also be held responsible for the murder of George Tiller.
Fortunately, as Glenn Beck himself once pointed out, that logic is unfounded.
Beck will hate hearing this, but it's the truth: Obama isn't to blame for every single bad thing that's happened in the last five years.
