Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski recently suggested that Ted Cruz doesn’t love America, a suggestion which Beck took offense to even though he has frequently accused his own ideological opponents of not loving America too.
So much so that Beck suggested that Joe Scarborough – who had actually taken Cruz's defense to Brzezinski – was acting comparably to a Jewish guard at a Nazi concentration camp.
"Listen, you know there were Jewish people that guarded the camps," said Beck. "He's just angling for that position. He's like, 'I'm a conservative but I'm your kind of conservative, I'll guard the other conservatives.'"
Beck also speculated that Brzezinski were Joe Scarborough are a couple, saying: "He would like her sticking her heels in him."
Later, because one immature sex joke evidently wasn't enough for him, Beck, along with co-hosts Pat Gray and Steve Burguiere, spoke about Bill and Hillary Clinton's relationship, a conversation that rapidly deteriorated into the three hosts trying to outdo the other's Hillary impression.
Of note, Beck joked that Bill had to throw lamps at Hillary, shouting, "Stop, just get away from me."
Which, believe it or not, actually warms my heart to hear from Beck. Because if, after all these years, the Clintons' sex lives are still open to ridicule, that means we still have at least as many years left before jokes about the intelligence of the man Glenn Beck used to be a cheerleader for finally begin to grow stale.
