During the February 19th, 2014 broadcast of his radio program, Glenn Beck said, finally, after countless warnings that America was on the brink of ruin, that it is finally all over and he doesn't even care anymore if Washington, DC and all of its monuments are burned to the ground.
"I will tell you this," said Beck, "the country, the institution, what that flag, those buildings that the flag flies over, what the flag is becoming, what it means to the rest of the world, I don't know! I don't care!"
Given that Beck apparently believes the flag used to represent a theocracy in which confirming the existence of atheists and non-Caucasians, or tolerating anything that could be described as progressive (which, in Beck's mind, could literally be anything) makes you a Nazi, this should only be taken as a good thing.
After once again blaming progressives (and by "progressives," he means everyone and everything besides the Tea Partiers) for everything wrong in the world again, Beck claimed that he is working on becoming entirely indifferent to them (a claim that would have been believable if he did not still throw a screaming temper tantrum every time he saw anything that even remotely reminded him of them).
"I don't care," he said. "I don't care. I'm not about the buildings, I'm not about the flag, I'll burn the flag every day. In fact, I'm really considering burning the flag. I may do a show really super soon where I burn the flag. And if you don't like it, then maybe you should figure out what the flag means."
He might as well burn the flag, given that he has been metaphorically wiping himself with it for the past seven years already.
