Glen Campbell was the man of the hour on Sunday night. In our exclusive coverage at the 54th Annual Grammys, the entertainer was honored with a special tribute on stage with Blake Shelton, The Band Perry both of which sung Gentle on My Mind and Southern Nights both classic hits from the entertainer, but the music didn’t stop there.
The audience was on their feet for the finale of the performance when Rhinestone Cowboy was sung by Glenn Campbell as it was a song that not only described Campbell, but had everyone remembering just why they loved the entertainer. With the whole audience signing along, it was a picture perfect moment that reminded the world how important music is to everyone.
Glen Campbell was diagnosed six months ago as being in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease. With the final album and tour upon the country, this will be one of the last times Campbell will be on stage in front of a national audience.
