The cast of Glee welcomed a new member on the set of fictional William McKinley High School for this week's episode of Glee.

The actress, broadway singer and author, Kristin Chenoweth, rocked the role as the washed-up, has-been high school star who tries to make her comeback as an alchoholic.

While she was forced to bail from the glee club due to the love of her liquor, the 41-year-old actress took a stellar leap into the role of "April Rhodes" and looked amazing fit for her role - Not a first for the star.

Kristin has played roles on Broadway including "Sally Brown" in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, "Glinda" in Broadway's Wicked and as "Annabeth  Schott" in The West Wing and her award-winning performance in Pushing Daises as "Olive Snook".

Kristin pulled an Emmy for that role in 2009 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy and was gleefully able to take her "distinctive" voice onto the hit series, Glee....and, might we say, a wicked body to match her vocals.

The 4-foot-11 Broadway blondie admits to "cheating" on her diet and workouts but confesses sometimes cheating helps her get through a sweaty session.

But her workouts must be crazy intense to keep her figure, because when it comes to eats, the star says her favorite take-home is Chick-fil-A.

"I get the chicken strips, honey-mustard sauce, waffle fries and diet lemonade," Kristin says.

Rachael's response?

"Because that's such a girl thing. You figure the diet drink makes the calories in the waffle fries go away!"
