Lea Michele is beloved for her role as Rachel on "Glee." She's also a successful singer on her own with albums such as "Louder" and known for her fashionista sensibilities. Lea talked with Dr. Mehmet Oz on his talk show recently about her book and her life.

The slender actress learned how to eat right from her family. She grew up with loving, health-aware parents. As a result, Lea avoids junk food. She's also a believer in the benefits of fitness. All of her health tips are included in her book as well as beauty, fashion and positive self-esteem help. Lea told Dr. Oz that she's come up with her own recipe for beating bloat:

In addition, Lea reveals what she learned from her career as a stage actress as well as a commentary about her relationships. And some romance is included, according to excerpts from her book:
When we shot the ["Glee"] pilot, I met Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale, Amber Riley and Chris Colfer for the first time. I had worked on Broadway with Jenna Ushkowitz and Matthew Morrison before. Matt had been a friend of mine for years, and in fact we'd actually dated back in the day for a Broadway beat.
Lea's not the only "Glee" star to write a book. Check out "Choosing Glee: 10 Rules to Finding Inspiration, Happiness, and the Real You" by Jenna Ushkowitz, and "Struck By Lightning: The Carson Phillips Journal" by Chris Colfer. And although "Glee" is ending soon, it's available in DVD format.
