'Glee' star is entering rehab for the second time (Photos)

Cory Monteith is going into rehab for the second time in his life. According to People magazine the 30-year-old "Glee" star has checked into a rehab facility for substance abuse over the weekend. A representation for Monteith told People that Cory has "voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction," and has asked that his privacy is respected during these difficult times.

He told People "I'm lucky to be alive," when recalling entering rehab the first time at age 19. Cory plays Finn Hudson on the show and has been very open about his struggle with drugs and alcohol. In 2011 he admitted to Parade magazine that he had "a serious problem," and that he had "burned a lot of bridges."

Lea Michele, who plays his girlfriend on “Glee,” said that she is "grateful and proud he made this decision." Hopefully this time will be the last time that he needs the help. Certainly, fans of the show wish Cory the best and look forward to his return.
