While the “Glee” cast and production are still trying to figure out how to deal with the tragic loss of Cory Monteith, a list of new character for Season 5 has surfaced. On Monday, August 19, Wet Paint released the names of the characters and a short description of them.
According to the source, besides Demi Lovato joining “Glee” Season 5 for an extended arc, these are the roles being cast or already set to star:
Ruby: An African-American student at McKinley High School.
Julie: A cute and quirky girl in her 20s, she will first appear in episode 2 of Season 5.
Ryan: A double threat girl in her 20s that can sing and play guitar.
“American Idol” Season 8 runner-up, Adam Lambert, has been cast for more than just a one-time guest spot. No details on the name or characteristics of his character have been released.
Roderick Easton: A talented man with a huge ego in his 40s.
Jim Elliott: An academic in his mid-40s or early 50s.
Jurgen: Same as Jim Elliott but of German or Austrian descent.
