"Glee" returns next month for its fifth season, and on Tuesday, Aug. 27, FOX released a new promo teasing what's coming up this fall, including a few changes.
"Glee" season 5 is going to feature a Cory Monteith tribute episode, "The Quarterback," and we're prepared to shed a few tears during it. However, the new promo to the left is very light-hearted and doesn't touch upon that. Instead, the focus is on the good times, and a major part of it is the theme that will be kicking off the season: another kind of tribute.
The first two episodes of the season are tributes to The Beatles, and the promo shows that Will's (Matthew Morrison) even going to explain that when presenting the glee club with the assignment: "The Beatles are so epic that we need two weeks to do them justice." The Darren Criss-narrated preview also includes Artie (Kevin McHale) and Kitty (Becca Tobin) in a bumper car, Blaine so sure that he and Kurt (Chris Colfer) will have a happy ending, and Sue (Jane Lynch) back at McKinley—and she's now Principal Sylvester. Will New Directions win Nationals again?
"Glee" season 5 airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on FOX, beginning Sept. 26. What do you think of the new promo?
