"Glee" is currently airing on Channel 10 in Tempe. On Saturday, Jan. 5, Collider shared a new interview with Chris Colfer. During the interview, he talks about his character, and he also talks about his time on the series. New photos of Colfer at an event promoting his film on Sunday have also been released by Getty Images. Darren Criss and Harry Shum Jr. are also featured in the photos. Chris Colfer is currently out promoting his film project, "Struck by Lightning." Away from "Glee" on Fox, he is a best selling novelist with more books set for release in the near future. On this series, he plays Kurt, and there have been some big changes for the character in season four. He started his adult life, and he broke up with Blaine. Colfer spoke about Kurt and what's next for him and Blaine with Collider. He said the following:
"I think it's amazing, what they represent, and I'm so happy that kids have that relationship to look to. But, I get the fans really mad when I say that I'm really happy they’re taking a break because it gives us something else to do, besides say, 'I love you,' and look at each other dreamily. I'm sure there will be more of that, don’t the road, but I think it's good for those characters, right now, to take a break and establish themselves as characters, rather than just half a character."
Colfer also revealed that he does not have much input on the series or its scripts. He was behind the script for "Struck by Lightning." The actor also spoke about being on the Fox series. He said the following about the show's popularity:
"It gave me a career. I don't know. It's such a huge thing. What surprised me is that, when you’re a part of something, you think that you’ll always be able to recognize it for what it is. But, I’m so in the eye of that Glee storm that I don’t think I’ll ever comprehend what it is or how big it is."
Colfer's film will arrive in theaters on Friday. Fans are buzzing about this actor and his work on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
Darren Criss and Chris Colfer. Together. In pictures. Are they just not the most adorable people you've ever seen?
"Glee" will continue to air season four on Channel 10 in Tempe.
