According to an October 9, 2013 E! News spoiler chat, "we will never be fully prepared to say goodbye to Finn either, but Ryan Murphy recently shared with us some really sweet advice on how to get through Cory Monteith's tribute episode together. 'For people who are fans of the show, and him particularly, I think it would be great if they watched it with other fans because it has that sort of family feel to it,' Murphy explained. You hear that Glee fans? Grab your loved ones and a box of tissues before tuning into Thursday's all-new episode, 'The Quarterback.'"
Tomorrow's episode will be a tear-jerker, as McKinley students and alumni will say goodbye to Finn Hudson. During the tribute, Rachel (Lea Michele) will sing Bob Dylan's "Make You Feel My Love," a song that has special significance for Michele and Monteith as a real-life couple.
As Murphy explained, "it was a very personal one for her and Cory. She’s ultimately the person who approved and chose that song. She wanted to do something personal. I don’t think she'll ever share why she chose that song."
The Finn Hudson/Cory Monteith tribute episode, "The Quarterback," airs Thursday October 10 at 9/8c on FOX.
Will you be able to get through tomorrow's episode without crying? Will you continue to watch the show without Finn?
