Naya Rivera, the sexy star of Fox’s hit show, “Glee,” is probably not feeling the glee as her fiancé, rapper Big Sean just broke off their engagement. On April 9, People reported that the rapper’s rep confirmed the news.

The couple met on Twitter with Rivera following Sean first. Then they became engaged last October. They had only made their relationship public 6 months prior to that by appearing together at the premiere of the movie “42.” All indications were that they were doing fine. Last year, Sean rapped about Rivera in the song “No New Friends.” He said in an interview with People that they were heavily involved in planning their wedding.

In January, Rivera spoke to Cosmos for Latinas, saying "I think he’s going to be an amazing husband, and he’ll make a great father someday.” She described him as kind but said he is definitely the one who wears the pants in their relationship.

As recently as this past Friday, She tweeted her thanks to Cosmopolitan because she and Anderson had been featured in its list of the cutest engaged celebrity couples. However, Anderson's rep made the following statement on Big Sean’s behalf:

"After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off.”

"The recent rumors and accusations reported by so-called or fake sources are simply untrue. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter."

Those rumors, according the April 9 post on the Los Angeles Times, alleged the Big Sean, whose real name is Sean Anderson, had cheated on the 27 year old singer-actress and then admitted his actions to her. TMZ reported the allegations were false according to their source and that the real problem was Rivera being overly-controlling and jealous of the women Sean met and worked with.

Rivera, who has appeared on “Glee” since its first season in 2009, attended the Marie Claire Fresh Faces event in L.A. on Tuesday evening. She was not wearing her engagement ring for the event. She has yet to issue a public statement on the break up.
