Once again, reports are surfacing that “Glee” star Lea Michele is crashing heads with her co-stars. According to Wet Paint on Friday, this time the issue is with Naya Rivera. This makes the rumors of Lea Michele being a diva on set harder to shake off.
The source reports that Naya and Lea are at odds, and that Naya has even complained to producers about Lea’s behavior. “It was later clarified that Naya most likely actually got into it with one of the show’s producers,” the source continues. This might explain why her character was written out of the Season 5 finale.
During an appearance on the “Late Show With David Letterman,” Lea Michele was asked about all of these crazy rumors. Dave of course dramatized the story, jokingly asking Lea about a fist fight that he heard went down. “You knocked somebody out?,” he asked.
Being a good sport, Lea laughed and commented on how frustrating all of these “completely made up” stories can be. Dave continued to tease, “So you know what I’m talking about then, because I just made it up!”
Lea continued to say how unfortunate it is the way that people like to pit women against each other. The “Glee” star went on to joke around about how her perfect “epic brawl” would involve a ring and Jello. Watch the conversation on “Late Show With David Letterman” YouTube.
What did go down on the “Glee” set though? Something had to happen to have caused Naya’s character to be written out of the finale. The ratings have not been looking good for the series. Back in 2013 though, Fox renewed “Glee” for two more seasons, so we’ll be getting at least one more season – Season 6 will premiere in 2015. No word yet on how many episodes it will consists of, but it will run without breaks in between the season.
