Production on the hit FOX comedy series “Glee” has stopped Friday after several cast members have come down with tonsillitis.
The cast of the Golden Globe winning comedy series was currently filming the musical number in Los Angeles for the Feb. 6 episode when cast members became ill. Because of the viral outbreak, they were forced to cancel production.
“Glee” actress Dianna Agron, who plays cheerleader Quinn, posted a message to her fans on Tumblr Friday about the outbreak.
"Note to self...should have gotten a flu shot. In bed, hoping that medicine, soup, my computer and a marathon of movies will be the cure.”
The show is scheduled to resume production on Monday. The number they were working on Friday will be reshot sometime in January.
It never reported who has tonsillitis, but if I were to guess, I’d say Lea Michele, Agron and Cory Monteith are the ones sick.
