'Glee' open auditions: seeking new triple threats via online casting

The hit FOX TV show "Glee" is holding online open auditions now through April 26 on MySpace. The musical smash TV series seeks amateur and professional performers ages 16-26 for fresh new cast members to be "featured" in its second season.

Eager triple threats who wish to appear on the show must follow the rules listed on the audition page.  A song list is provided, and rules for video content should be completely adhered to, so it's obvious from the get-go that you can follow directions.

Only the MySpace web page can be used for official video submissions.  Audition videos of the Season One cast can be seen on the FOX "Glee" page, for inspiration.  (Tips for wardrobe and presentation can be found in this Insider article.)

The original cast of the show tours with a live stage production in New York City, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Chicago in May.  The Los Angeles performances of the "Glee Tour" will be May 20-22 at Universal City Walk's Gibson Amphitheatre.
