Rest easy, fellow Gleeks.
Lexington Gleeks? You can breathe a sigh of relief. Granted, it wasn't really a much-needed sigh of relief considering we all assumed this was going to happen, but Fox's hit series, Glee, has been picked up for a third season. Yes, we're well aware that they just got picked up for a second season a couple of months ago. Regardless, we're more than thrilled to be able to say with confidence, we get to watch the trials and tribulations of the teachers and students at McKinley High for at least three years.
EW.com is reporting that the series will be continuing on into a third year. The show, which has been different than anything we've seen on television, follows a group of kids struggling with typical high school woes all while trying to make it in their school's Glee Club. Which, in case you weren't aware, is apparently the kiss of popularity death in the land of McKinley.
The first season wraps up on June 8th but the show will return to Fox this fall on Tuesdays at 8pm. Glee airs on Fox (cable channel 7 in Lexington) on Tuesdays at 9pm for the time being, and part one of the first season is already available on DVD, which can be found at Lexington's Best Buy on Nicholasville Road.
