GLBC set to take over Bernard's Tavern Feb 21st; Releasing new Alchemy Hour IPA

Craft beer lovers, you have two choices this Thursday: you can stay indoors, watch some tired old TV show and be bored OR you can celebrate the Great Lakes Brewing Company takeover at Bernard’s Tavern from 6 to 8 p.m. where they will be tapping a long-awaited brew – Alchemy Hour Double IPA, the first of two new releases for 2013.

The beer should be enough to lure you away from your snuggie and reality TV, but if that isn’t enough, there’s a good chance you will return home with not only hoppilicious craft beer in your belly, but a prize winner as well.

The must-have freebie of the night will be a VIP package giveaway Columbus Alive will be dangling before everyone on their Facebook page, but the fun doesn’t stop there. Great Lakes and Columbus Alive will be both me giving away other items, and according to Sean Carter, a GLBC representative, Great Lakes glassware!

This is your chance to get the best of GLBC. Carter encourages fans and Great Lakes neophytes to come out, saying, “There’s a lot of great stuff on tap for the night, and it’s just a good old-fashioned get together for folks who enjoy craft beer.”

Who can pass that up? For more information, click here. See you Thursday night at Bernard's located at 630 N. High St.!
