Glaze

Glaze earned her name from the silvery grey-blue coat that shines as if a sugary glaze.  It's hard to imagine that this sweet girl was found abandoned and wandering the streets of Jersey City Heights.  The white markings on her chest and paws look as if she was dipped in confectioner’s sugar, and her bright yellow eyes and white whiskers add even more charm to her already charming and expressive face.  No picture does her justice – her beauty is a challenge to capture on film.

Now in the refuge of the Liberty Humane Society in Jersey City, Glaze is known for her incredibly sweet personality.  Volunteer Jenny Furlong says, “She wants nothing more than to curl up into a ball and get petted.  She loves ear and back scratches!  As you pet her, she gives you the sense that she wouldn't mind doing this for hours.  When you stop, she reaches out as if to say, ‘please, don't stop.’  Glaze is just pure love!”

An adult female of medium build with thick, medium-length fur, Glaze is FeVL- and FIV-negative, up-to-date on shots, and she’ll be ready to go to her forever home as soon as she’s spayed.

Though we’ll never know her past, it’s clear that her future will be a loving one, where bygones will be bygones.  She’s ready to share an unconditional love with a family who appreciates her for her inner and outer beauty.  Might your family be the one?
