"This is my normal," says model Lizzie Miller. Her photo in September Glamour is causing a stir.
There are some things you need to know about Wilhelmina model, Lizzie Miller. She plays softball. She's 20. She's weighs 180 pounds and is between a size 12-14. She caused an enormous stir when she appeared on page 194 of Glamour magazine's September issue with nothing on but a hair clip.
According to Glamour's editor, Cindi Leive, within hours of the magazine coming out people emailed the offices and blogged online with ecstatic comments like "At last, someone who looks like me!" and "Finally a real woman's body."
Watch Lizzie's interview with TODAY in which she tells Matt Lauer she doesn't feel the photo is the most flattering but is pleased that it has not been Photoshopped. According to inside sources Glamour is considering using heavier models for its covers and inside spreads.

Great pic of a real woman. I am going to subscribe to Glamour now! Finally a magazine not afraid of a real woman photo
I weigh the same as this girl, yet I never thought as myself as being beautiful...This girl is absolutly gorgeous!! Seeing her makes me feel better about myself!
Though it can never be enough...Thank you for what you have done and how you have made me feel.
lizzi miller is my hero
Finally a real woman! Maybe the last prejudice acceptable in this country will be allowing women to eat and not to try and make themselves look like men or small boys! Also the Dove's reality video of what exactly happens to a model used for billboards. Deceitful to the public and let us not forget young teenage girls with eating disorders trying to fit an image that was not real or healthy to begin with. Women have curves it's natural now women are suppose to look like men with a six-pack? Let us as women leave that to the fireman who comes to save the lives of the women who love them. Way to go Glamour! The truth will set you free!
Finally!
REAL WOMEN! It's about time, not all of us "guys" like stripper looking chicks. She is a babe...
I think she's gorgeous! So glad that Glamour is finally realizing that beauty comes in many sizes. (Although in my world, size 12/14 is not even plus sized!)
