The train station has personal history sometimes bittersweet for Pittsburghers as it also was a place where soldiers would leave during World War II and the Vietnam War to defend all of us. Visit and learn the history of the railroad and enjoy the entertainment attractions.
As it becomes really cold in January it is fun to mix your spring /summer look with winter looks and warmth. Dots of different sizes are a fun fashion statement. You can find dots this winter. This look is a small polka dot crinkle crepe like blouse. It is easy care since the wrinkles are built into the fabric and wash finishing with air dry. It is an inexpensive Sag Harbor from Macy’s downtown Pittsburgh. It is coupled with a crepe Jones New York skirt with a flared godet hemline. The dots in the body of the skirt are coin dots with godet mini dots. This also was a bargain at Macy’s downtown Pittsburgh. A skinny black belt with a silver and brown chain belt finishes the look. Once again I pull it together with the taupe wool mohair cocoon sweater and faux suede over- the-knee boots.
Enjoy the original wood seats where many passengers awaited their train. The walls have lovely prints to enjoy the history. Enjoy the wood and classic carpeting look as you enter either from the outdoors or The Gandy Dancer.
Another touch of warmth is the infinity ring scarf. This one is taupe with ad gold thread to give extra glam and flair to an outfit. Taupe is great because it is neutral but not drab.
