Give your Valentine chocolate, it's okay it's healthy

Valentine's Day is synonomous with chocolate. Most of us will agree that chocolate is super delicious. But what about super healthy?

Several reports say chocolate is healthier than some "super fruits." "Super fruit" is a term given to fruits that have exceptional nutritional content and are high in antioxidants.

According to a study published in Chemistry Central Journal , shows dark chocolate and cocoa powder have a "greater antioxidant capacity" and a "greater total flavanol and polyphenol content than the fruit juice."

This theory that chocolate's powerful antioxidant benefits are greater than some fruits is encouraging for chocolate lovers

Researchers say when they compared levels of polyphenols and flavanols in cocoa powder to those in fruit powder they found more in the cocoa per gram.

Healthy antioxidants are known to be in fruits, such as berries, grapes and even found in red wine and green tea.
