Sausage pancakes along with other traditional breakfast favorites keep the dining room full at OldWest Cafe. Whether your craving something simple like scrambled eggs and bacon or a something like an omelette or specialty pancake, you will find it at this diner located on Dallas Drive.

While most Dentonites know OldWest for its breakfast, which is served all day, there is also a lunch menu. The breakfast menu includes specialty pancakes: banana nut, blueberry, chocolate chip, cinnamon multi-grain, and sausage pancakes. The sausage pancakes have bits of sausage cooked right into the buttermilk batter, and are quite tasty with maple syrup on top. Check out the slideshow  below to see photos of OldWest breakfast options.

There are a variety of omelettes, breakfast burritos and quesadillas, and other dishes unique to Oldwest. There are even a few healthy options for those watching their waistlines. Breakfast entrees range in price from $3.99 to $10.99.

Lunch menu options includes traditional favorites like chicken fried steak, hamburgers, meatloaf, and chicken tenders. Tacos, quesadillas, and an assortment of sandwiches are also offered. Lunch entrees range in price from $5.99 to $8.99.

The staff at OldWest is prompt and amiable and the restaurant is a good choice for a family meal out. However, if you are looking for a quiet, intimate setting, this is not the place. The tables are fairly close together and since the dining room is usually packed most mornings, it tends to be pretty noisy.
