Give Kids a Smile Day Screenings At Marquette This Saturday

Low-income children between the ages 3 - 16 will be screened for free dental care on Saturday January 26th at Marquette University School of Dentistry (1801 W Wisconsin Ave Milwaukee, WI 53233).

Screenings will be done on a first-come first-serve basis and will be conducted between 9:00 am and noon Saturday. After patients are given an exam and treatment is planned for them they will be referred and seen at the Marquette Dental School or a private practice office. The private dental offices that are participating in the "Give Kids a Smile Day" event will see the children on February 1st and February 8th.

Over 200 volunteers are going to be at Marquette Saturday to help with the screening process. This event is being coordinated by the Wisconsin Dental Association and they expect to have 600 or more children treated for their dental needs this year.
