On February 1st, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Dr Renee Vervaeke will be providing free dental care in Howell, for local children in need. She will provide free screenings, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants and fillings. To receive the free service your child must be under the age of 18, and accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Appointments need to be scheduled in advance through Great Lakes Family Dental Group at (517) 546-7920.
The Give Kids a Smile program was started by the American Dental Association in 2003. Dentists and others volunteer their time to provide help to families that cannot afford dental care.
