Give it up for the mole

When it comes to beauty there is a lot that people notice. The eyes, lips, hair color, even the skin. Is the skin soft? Is it smooth? So much goes into what makes that person who they are. But when you think about the big screen and the leading ladies that are getting the roles not only do they have all the traits that make people want them but they also have that one extra beauty mark. They have the mole that for the most part will grow on us (not literally though). But it can be a big part as to if that woman is for you or not. After a month of noticing it then she is probably not for you.

It used to be that when photographing models or being on the big screen these marks had to be hidden. Photographers for years had to air brush these out of the photos. But the more time went on and the more these were visible, the world started to see these in a different fashion. Not to mention it made it easier to produce photos without having to remove moles from pictures.

Sports Illustrated found it helpful when they photographed Cindy Crawford and found that they did not have to hide her mole. In fact, their 1988 issue starring Cindy Crawford sold more magazines that year then a lot of the combined previous years. Cindy went on to be one of the most sought after models and her mole has not hurt her image at all.

Eva Mendes was a winner in the movie Hitch along with Will Smith. Her mole has proven that yes these are real beauty marks.

Angelina Jolie has the mole right above her eyebrow and she is not a starving artists by any means. One of the highest paid leading ladies who is not afraid to take on any new character, Angelina will never have to worry about having her mark air brushed.

Or course the list does not end with these ladies. Tennis Pro Anna Kournikova took a liking to singer-songwriter Enrique Iglesias with his large mole right below his eye.

There are many beautiful people in the world who have one or two of life's beauty marks. Next time you see that person just remember they could be the next beauty on the big screen or gracing one of the hundreds of magazine covers.
