Give back this Valentine's Day with the Pajama Program

For Valentine's Day a popular gift that many people choose for their loved one is pajamas. This Valentine's Day how about giving a pair of pajamas to a child in need also? With the Pajama Program, you can gift a pair of new pajamas to a child in need as well as a bedtime story.

The Pajama Program

Pajama Program was started in 2001 with the idea that there are children out there who don't know the creature comforts of a warm pair of pajamas to sleep in at night or hearing a bedtime story before they go to bed. Serving 32 states, the Pajama Program provides children in homeless shelters and foster homes, many who have been abused, abandoned and neglected the opportunity to have something of their very own that gives them a sense of normalcy and recreating a nighttime ritual so many of us take for granted, pajamas and a bedtime story. Many of these children who receive these pajamas live well below the poverty level and because of their desperate need for food, shelter and clothing may never have known what it's like to have something they can call their own.

With almost 2 million donations pairs of pajamas and books given away since the inception of its program, Pajama Program continues to grow and fill a basic need for children in need.
