In our area, many families struggle to put food on the table. The Northern Illinois Food Bank has been helping the community by providing nutritious meals to those in need. On Thursday, October 31, a Halloween Canned Food Drive will give guests lots of treats for their food donation.
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® will host a Halloween Canned Food Drive to benefit Northern Illinois Food Bank, 11 a.m. to Noon, Thursday, Oct. 31, at the James R. Thompson Center Plaza, 100 W. Randolph, Chicago. Ringling Bros.® will give away one free ticket to an upcoming Chicago-area performance of its all-new spectacular, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Presents Built To Amaze!, in exchange for every standard-sized grocery bag of canned food donated, up to six tickets per donor, while supplies last.
During the food drive, the Thompson Center Plaza will host performances by the stars of the The Greatest Show On Earth®. Some performers include a new generation of the legendary, unicycle-riding, basketball-shooting King Charles Troupe. In the spirit of Halloween, , members of Ringling Bros.’ famed Clown Alley will construct a giant, seven-foot-tall jack-o-lantern out of donated canned goods.
For 30 years, Northern Illinois Food Bank committed to help the community's hungry problem.
