Girls Run This Sh!t Part II
Girls Night Out Features Music, Art And Fun
at WILDCAT Lounge April 16th
L. Paul Mann
Last week the girls took over Club Nokia in LA Live for the Vans Warped Tour kick off party. Now the local girls are getting ready to take over Santa Barbara's #1 dance club, the Wildcat, on April 16th. In a repeat of last Decembers' successful festivities, a night of music, art, and good time mayhem is being planned for one glorious night at the legendary club. According to organizer (and member of one of the performing bands “Pretty Awesome”) Shennie Smith: “The event focuses on bringing local female musicians, artists, dancers, designers (and more) together for one night of female empowerment and artistic awesomeness. While the bands play on the stage inside, the other artists will be showcasing their work on the back patio, creating small pop-up shops. There will also be complimentary CDO tequila tasting and a raffle with great prizes. A percentage of the proceeds will go to CALM (Child Abuse Listening Mediation). “
Make sure to mark this night on your calendar if you want to see local girl power in all it's glory celebrating the arts.
