The “Girls Gone Wild” franchise has filed for bankruptcy, chapter 11 as per reports from the Associated Press and TMZ on Feb. 28.
A spokesperson for the group, known for their videos of college girls flashing their breasts during spring break vacations, explains their bankruptcy case comes after two ongoing legal battles.
The first involves a lawsuit by Wynn Resorts filed against “Girls Gone Wild” founder Joe Francis after an unpaid gambling debt and his choice words about the resort.
The second legal fight for Francis and his boob-filled business was filed by a woman claiming she was unlawfully featured flashing her boobs to the camera in one of the “Girls Gone Wild” video clips without her consent.
In a statement, “Girls Gone Wild” explained:
"Girls Gone Wild remains strong as a company and strong financially,"
"The only reason Girls Gone Wild has elected to file for this reorganization is to re-structure its frivolous and burdensome legal affairs."
With spring break season 2013 upon the beach reports community throughout the world, how will the “Girls Gone Wild” do as it goes through its legal battle?
Will Joe Francis cave in to the legal cases filed against him and his business of flashing boobs and wild spring break sex videos?
