Girls' Basketball: Who should be the Westside Player of the Year?

With the season heading to a close, we are giving fans will get a chance to vote who they think should be the Los Angeles Sports Journal Westside Girls’ Basketball Player of the Year?

Below is a list of the top six players from five separate schools and each one led their team to a sectional title this season.

They include Windward seniors Jordin Canada and Kristen Simon, Brentwood’s Kennedy Martin, Culver City’s Michelle Curry, Fairfax’s Marguerite Effa and University’s Precious Nwaba.

Let us know what you think and the results of the fan favorite will be shown along with our selections for the All-Westside team when it is announced next month after the state playoffs.
