Girls and drifting is a popular subject. One side of the coin shows the sex appeal to men based on a woman handling such immense power. The other side of the coin, is the science behind women drivers having a keen advantage over men. Women have been proven to be better at multitasking, and they also have a lower average weight. Will women take over motorsports? It's likely.
The following footage shows an Asian girl drifting a Nissan 350z twin turbo. She is very small, light weight, and an excellent driver! This makes for the ultimate in a drifting competitor. The ability to multitask calculations while drifting is much more intense than street racing, or high speed Autobahn style driving. Add her ability to be extremely underweight compared to the average male competitor, and you have the ideal drifter.
For the longest time women were suppressed out of motorsports, and basically used as "models" to hang over the outside of fast cars. Today, the world is changing! Women are now key components in competition. Some of the best women drivers have been discovered in the last decade, at an astounding rate. If this rate keeps up, we will begin to see women in motorsports as much as men, possibly more. Science has proven that women are better in many areas needed in racing that men simply aren't wired for. What will the future hold? It is bright for females looking to get into motorsports. Follow your dream! Check out this video of one female drifter who followed her dream and is now the most successful female drifter in the circuit.
