Girls 12, stabs friend 19 time to please mythological creature

Two girls were charged as adults with first-degree attempted homicide on June 2, in Waukesha County Circuit Court, facing up to 60 years in prison if convicted. Their bail is currently set at $500,000 cash per child. The suspects’ names are Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier, residents of Wisconsin.

According to ABC News, the girls have been planning to kill their friend for months and decided to act on their desires Saturday morning, after a slumber party. They lured the girl into the woods and stabbed her 19 times. The suspects left the victim crawling to her own rescue.

The girls told detective they were trying to become “proxies” of Slenderman. Slenderman is a mythological demon-like with slender arms and legs and tentacles. According to Slenderman murder kids and commonly thought to reside in the woods and forests where he preys on kids. He often makes his appearances in videos, photos and images throughout time.

One of the girls told detective in order for a user to climb into Slenderman’s realm, they must kill someone.

According to CNN, a bicyclist found the wounded girl alive Saturday. She was lying on a sidewalk in the city of Waukesha.

The girls thought about murdering their friend by duct taping her mouth and stabbing her in the neck while she slept. They even thought about killing her in a bathroom with a floor drain making cleanup easier. Another plan they decided to kill her during a game of hide-and-seek.

One of the girls told the detective when they left for the park the victim walked in the front of them. Geyser lifted up her white coat revealing a knife underneath her coat, signaling Weier they were about to attack the unknowing victim.

The victim survived the attack, despite some of her major organs being struck. She is currently listed in stable condition.
