According to a Feb. 12 Daily Mail report, Britain's newest celebrity, a 16-year-old girl from Essex has as higher IQ than Albert Einstein. Lauren Marbe, stunned everyone, including her teachers and friends when she scored 161 on the Mensa brain test.
The teenager, who is referred to as a “self-styled ‘ditzy’ blonde” reportedly loves “fake tanning, having blonde highlights, manicures and getting glammed up for TOWIE parties” with friends.
Marbe, who’s new elite status means she is smarter than Bill Gates and Einstein Albert Einstein – both of whom have an IQ of 160, has been enrolled in prestigious high-IQ society Mensa, officially putting her in the top one percent of smartest brains worldwide.
She is happy to smash the Essex stereotype and is predicated to score straight As on high school examinations. “It was such an achievement and I got a bit tearful to tell you the truth,” Marbe said.
She continued, “'I was one of the last people to get my result and everybody before me had got around the 130 mark so that was the kind of result I was expecting. My teachers knew I was quite clever because of my grades but they had always thought I was blonde and a bit ditzy. Now they keep saying ‘I didn't realise you were that clever.’”
It’s the perfect case of not judging a book by its cover.
