A girl with an IQ of 161 tested higher than Bill Gates, Stephen Hawking, and Albert Einstein, according to a Feb. 12 Inquisitor report. Despite being strangely smart, Lauren Marbe still manages to live the life of a normal teenage girl too.
In fact, Lauren Marbe likes manicures, fake tans, and hanging out with her girlfriends much like any other girl her age likes to do. While blonds do have more fun, Marbe certainly does not fit the stereotype of a dumb blond. She said,
"I love my fake tan and fake nails as well so I guess I am a bit of an Essex girl in that sense. (But) I’m glad that I might be able to show people that we aren’t all ditzy and blonde."
Still for the girl with an IQ of 161, it was something of a surprise that she scored higher than Stephen Hawking on the IQ test. She said she was expecting something in the 130 range (which is quite high in itself). The maximum score on the test for a person under 18 is 162, so this makes her one of the smartest people in the world.
Now this newly minted genius from Essex has enrolled in the Mensa Society. Perhaps she will be able to teach them a thing or two.
