A girl wins $100,000 after beating a guy at a football pass accuracy match. On Dec. 9, eCanadaNow reported that a girl named Molly Brown took out her competitor, Alex, during a halftime contest at the Big Ten Championship game between the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Michigan State Spartans on Saturday night. Molly and Alex played in a special match that would award the winner $100,000 toward their college tuition... and Molly won!
"Clearly Alex had the advantage as he had form mastered along with a firm grip of the football. Molly’s hands weren’t sufficient to keep a grip on the football so she used both hands for every forward lateral she tossed. The game wasn’t even close," eCanadaNow reports.
When a girl wins $100,000 -- beating out a boy at football, you can imagine the amazement! The two students had to throw footballs into giant Dr. Pepper "cans" sitting in the end zone. However, this was not a big deal for Molly who looked like she could do this with her eyes closed. She was determined and she totally blew Alex out of the water. The North Canton, Ohio resident didn't miss any of her first five throws, putting herself in the lead right away. The final score? 18-10.
"Thank you! This just means so much. Now I can pursue nursing and hopefully change lives every day of my life. I'd like to thank Dr. Pepper, God, my family, Walsh University, and everyone back home in Ohio for all the support. It means the world to me. Go Buckeyes!" Molly said during her post-win interview.
And so a girl wins $100,000 in a football challenge... who says chicks can't do it better?! Check out the video above and judge for yourself.
