On May 1, Facebook: Greenville County Animal Care Services shared a very special donation with their Facebook followers.

The young ladies in Girl Scout Troup 1079 recently visited the upstate South Carolina shelter, where they brought a very generous donation of canned cat and dog food they'd purchased with the money made from selling cookies.

They toured the cat and dog areas, where they were showed the pets at the facility who would benefit from their donations.

Great job ladies! We need more caring groups such as yours, who are willing to go the extra mile to be sure these sweet cats and dogs have enough to eat.

Shelters across the U.S. are overwhelmed, and donations are always greatly appreciated.
