Green Bay, WI- Girl Scouts from Jean Westergaard and Jessica Goulet’s troop 4247 had a lot of fun completing their one hour plus radio show for radio presenter Keith Westergaard, who is just returning to the Internet air waves since his recovery from throat issues that have side lined him for the past several months.
Amber, Elizabeth, Mya, Tabatha, Samantha and leader Jean all gave reports on the American Girl Scout program which celebrates their centennial anniversary.
“This was a lot of fun,” said Samantha. “…and if I could do it over, I would have spent more time practicing and researching my material.”
Tabatha enjoyed choosing the music the best, while Mya and Elizabeth enjoyed the final edits of their show.
Troop Leader Jean gave the last commentary, about what 4247 does within their calendar year and at their last meeting, they listened on Scouting Radio to their show which happened to be currently streaming at the time of their meeting.
One of the parents, Ann Turpa commented how "the girls did a wonderful job with their parts of the material they were asked to present."
When asked if they wanted to do another show, the answer was a resounding “Yes.”
Special thanks to Amber who served as the master mixer and editor for the 4247 radio show.
