Girl Scout cookie truck to sell cookies in New York

A Girl Scout cookie truck will be making its way through Midtown on Friday (Feb. 8). The cookie truck will sell boxes of the treats, allowing consumers to get a quick-fix during the day. According to a report from Thursday (Feb. 7), this is being done in honor of National Girl Scout Cookie Day.

The truck is going to move around during the day, allowing fans of the cookies the chance to purchase them close to home. The schedule has the truck at 42nd Street and Madison Avenue between 8:30 and 10:30 am before heading to 57th Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues for a two-hour stop at 11:30 am.

Those aren't the only stops, though, as the truck will then hit Park Avenue between 52nd and 53rd streets at 2:30 pm before closing out the day at Amsterdam Avenue between 71st and 72nd streets from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. One report even has a video of the truck so New Yorkers can know what they are looking for on Friday.

Boxes at the Girl Scout cookie truck are reportedly going to be sold for $4 and there are even going to be samples provided for customers looking to try something new. Now New Yorkers don't have to wait for the Girl Scouts to come door-to-door this year and there is likely going to be a very large quantity of the cookies available.
