Girl Meets World” has kept fans buzzing since the announcement was made about the show actually being picked up by the Disney network. The premise of the show is based on the show “Boy Meets World,” just set nearly a decade later. Fans watched Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) grow up on-screen and now they have a chance to see them raising their own children in New York City. According to an April 10 report from E! Online, the exclusive trailer for “Girl Meets World” is now available. Fans everywhere are talking about their excitement.

The cast of “Boy Meets World” was so stellar that fans are hoping some of them will be seen in “Girl Meets World.” According to a report from MTV, it was confirmed that Minkus (Stuart Lee) will be back. Also, the Matthews' parents (Betsy Randle and William Russ) will be seen during a special holiday episode. There has been some talk of Rider Strong possibly making an appearance. Strong played Cory's best friend, Shawn Hunter. Mr. Feeny (William Daniels) will make an appearance in the pilot episode, which is sure to be a trip down memory lane for older fans.

Original “Boy Meets World” fans are excited they will be able to experience something they grew up watching with their children. The show will be family-oriented, making it appropriate for children of all ages. It will be interesting to see how much Cory and Topanga will be like Mr. and Mrs. Matthews, and what kind of trouble their tween daughter will get into.

Right now there isn't an exact premiere date for “Girl Meets World.” It is expected to hit the Disney Channel this summer, which is just a few months away. With the trailer being released and an official cast photo already out, things are nearing completion.
