Fans of the 90’s classic ‘Boy Meet’s World’ have been greatly anticipating the return of Cory and Topanga in the new Disney project, ‘Girl Meets World.’ Not only has television’s favorite couple grown up, they now have children, and Cory is even the new Mr. Feeny. As previously announced, the show will primarily focus on Cory and Topanga’s daughter Riley who will be played by Rowan Blanchard. Now though, we have yet another cast member to meet. According to a TVLine report dated Mon. Mar. 4, Teo Halm has been cast to star as Riley's brother "Elliott" in the upcoming pilot.
On Tues. Mar. 5, Danielle Fishel took to Twitter to express her excitement over Teo’s addition to the show. I have an announcement to make. I have a gorgeous daughter (@rowblanchard) and a handsome son (@teohalm). @BenSavage and I love you both!!
Evidently, the search for her onscreen children was ongoing and difficult.
Fishel’s next tweet was quite the indicator: If having real life children is as hard as finding these two beauties (@rowblanchard & @teohalm) then I think I'm happy with being a TV mom.
According to Fishel, the new spinoff will bring “familiar faces, familiar themes, and familiar messages.” Production for ‘Girl Meets World’ will begin later this month for a 2013-2014 slot on the Disney Channel’s schedule.
