Fans of the hit 90s show "Boy Meets World" are getting excited for the new version called "Girl Meets World." What is more exciting is that the "girl's" brother and best friend have been cast reports Perez Hilton on March 6.
The girl, whose name is Riley, will be played by Rowan Blanchard. Her best friend, Maya, who is geared to be the female version of Shawn Hunter will be played by Sabrina Carpenter. The show is really starting to shape up and fans are getting even more excited.
Of course, the show wouldn't be complete without a brother similar to Eric that is suave, yet kind of a brat. This big brother, Elliot, will be played by none other than Teo Halm, whom coincidentally, kind of even looks like a younger version of Eric.
While several fans have stated that the show wouldn't be the same without Rider Strong and Will Friedle reprising their roles, both of their IMDB pages claim that they will be making appearances in the "Girl Meets World" show as Shawn Hunter and Eric Matthews in unknown episodes.
