A 17-year-old girl in the Mexican resort city of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico has been discovered by local medical authorities addicted to the particularly gruesome drug Krokodil, as reported by Breitbart.com on Dec. 10, 2013.

With her name not released to the public, the anonymous girl reportedly shocked Mexican doctors when they examined her and found she had been injecting Krokodil on and in her vagina.

According to Jose Sotero Ruiz Hernandez of Mexico's National Migration Institute, they discovered that the girl had been injecting Krokodil for the last two months, and due to the nature of the drug, her genitals had already begun "rotting."

As the health official also stated:

There’s a case that we had to see at the Social Security: the girl consuming this drug, had an infection in her private parts.

Ruiz made it clear her "infection" wasn't caused from any particular sexually transmitted disease but in fact attributed to her use of the "drug that eats junkies."

Background On The Drug...

Costing as little a $1 per hit, the homemade heroin look-a-like was nicknamed Krokodil by its amateur chemist-developers in Russian Siberia 10 years ago due to the user's skin turning green and scaly prior to as gangrene killing the flesh from deep within the human body and works its way to the surface, decomposing the blood vessels, muscles and skin before the addict's very eyes.

Consisting of a toxic mixture of powdered codeine tablets mixed with a slew of other liquids and chemicals such as gasoline, oil, paint thinner, red phosphorus and butane are sloshed together to create a cheap and easily produced injectable drug.

Well known in throughout the Russian Federation, this is the first publicized case of Krokodil rearing its ugly head in Mexico.

Relatively unused in the United States, there have only been a handful of known cases; notably in Phoenix, AZ and Joliet, IL.
