Teen birth rates in the U.S. have dropped, which is welcoming news.
However, there is unwelcoming news about a 9-year-old who has recently given birth in Mexico. Now police are searching for the baby’s 17-year-old father.
Last year, a 9-year-old Chinese girl also gave birth.
What is disturbing is the fact that those girls are not the youngest mothers to give birth. “The youngest mother in the world is 6-year-old Lina Medina from Peru. Lina was pregnant at 5-year-old and gave birth when she turned 6.”
Parents, can you believe these pregnancy stories? Children are supposed to be playing and having fun. Little girls should be busy entertaining themselves with dolls, not pretending to be adults and having babies.
