Charlize Theron had already signed up for a role in the upcoming MacFarlane comedy, “A Million Ways to Die in the West.” Now Amanda Seyfried joined the cast.
Along with these two beautiful stars, comes Liam Neeson and Giovanni Ribisi, who have also chosen to take on roles in the MacFarlane comedy film.
“A Million Ways to Die in the West” revolves around a sheep farmer (Seth MacFarlane), who pulls out of a gun duel. Once he has stepped down from the duel, he finds out his girlfriend (Amanda Seyfried) has left him. When the film was in talks, it was stated this would be a wife, not a girlfriend. Since the only cast member besides MacFarlane was listed as Charlize Therone, it was assumed she would take on the role of his wife. Wrong assumption.
A man has got to pick and choose his battles. Once his girlfriend leaves him, this is the battle he chooses to fight. MacFarlane goes after the outlaw that caused his woman to leave him. Liam Neeson will play the role of the famous gunslinger that trains MacFarlane to bump up his skills for the duel.
After his training is complete, MacFarlane encounters the outlaw’s wife, played by Charlize Theron. He ends up falling love with her.
What sheep farmer goes through life without a best friend? Giovanni Ribisi accepts the role of MacFarlane’s BFF in “A Million Ways to Die in the West.”
There is no production details as of yet, although the film is expected in theaters in 2014. Seth MacFarlane will direct the film too.
